Help, I look mummified! Is my skin dehydrated?
The skin needs to contain 10-15% of water to be well-hydrated. But how do we know if our skin's dehydrated?
Here are the tell-tale signs:
Checklist: Your skin feels tight when you step out of your bath/shower; it wrinkles up if you pinch it; you notice fine lines around your eye contour and lips when you wake up in the morning that disappear as soon as you slather on your moisturiser; your skin feels rough and is increasingly hyper-sensitive.
If you face any of the above issues, then your skin is probably d(r)ying of thirst. But do not worry; it will just take a few weeks of moisturising for your dehydrated face to bounce back to its naturally plump self.
